THE FATHERS’ RIGHTS MOVEMENT APPOINTS
ATTORNEY MELISSA ISAAK – EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

WASILLA, AK –  The Fathers’ Rights Movement (TFRM), a 501(c)3, is proud to announce the appointment of Melissa Isaak as their new Executive Director effective immediately. Isaak is an Alabama attorney who specializes in Men’s and Father’s rights in family law cases.

TFRM President Thomas Fidler said, “This is a new era in the continuing evolution of parenting and parent equal rights. Melissa’s experience of years of custody trials, paired with her personal experience as a child who was on the losing of the court system’s flawed structure, make her a uniquely situated person who is the perfect choice for us. The vision Melissa has for the movement, and the future of our children, is when most parents have equal parenting time. Today, more than 50% of marriages end in divorce, and 40% of new births are to single mothers, the systemic absence of fathers is leading to major societal problems and we hope to slow, if not stop, that tragedy.”

“I am honored and excited to head The Fathers’ Rights Movement and push for new initiatives that are planned for our continued expansion into services for fathers in need. I hope to further our educational goals for the judiciary of how necessary and valuable fathers are in a child’s life.” Isaak continued, “It’s very exciting to think that we will be able to mobilize our 500,000 followers on Facebook into action and to make the changes to a system that has grown dysfunctional for many families.”

The Fathers’ Rights Movement (TFRM) Vice President Joe Jensen said, “The movement is making great strides on the ground helping fathers navigate the rough waters of breakups with our crisis line (907-312-5552) and in our education efforts of the importance of fathers in a child’s life. Coming on the heels of our first annual Parental Equality Conference in Las Vegas, the appointment of Isaak assures the progress that we’ve been making, will continue into the future.”

Isaak is head of the  Alabama based Isaak Law Firm consisting of four attorneys who work every day to provide legal counsel and support to fathers who are striving to be a consistent, caring and connected parent.

The Fathers’ Rights Movement (TFRM.US) was formed in Wasilla Alaska by Thomas Fidler and has been granted 501(c)3 status by the IRS.  Boasting over 500,000 followers on Facebook TFRM is a grassroots organization whose stated mission is: “As a collective movement, we are passionate about empowering fathers to stand up for their rights and to educate the public and family court system about the importance of fathers in society. Our mission includes bringing the community of fathers together as a unified social force aimed at restoring society’s ideals of the father and strengthening the connection each father has to their children.”
